Intentional Education
Seattle Waldorf School intentionally designs its learning environment to balance the right combination of academics and healthy social-emotional development—building a strong foundation for success.
Program Considerations for the 2020-21 School Year
Seattle Waldorf School is guided by recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, King County Health Department, and American Academy of Pediatrics, along with our SWS Reopening Task Force as we make decisions about the delivery of our curriculum to students. While we believe that in-person learning is optimal, the safety and well-being of our students, families, faculty, and staff remains our top priority. Please visit and bookmark our dedicated website for current information on the status of our programs.
We’re changing the conversation about education.
- We emphasize connection to self, others, the environment, and cultures of the world.
- We value collaboration to understand our individual and collective impact, contribute positively to humanity, and create a future we can embrace.
- We consider the big picture by observing what is, asking questions, and seeking different perspectives.
