Building Community
Designed to support families (expectant too!) and build community in the earliest stages of their child’s development, our Caregiver and Child classes follow a gentle rhythm with warmth and simplicity. SWS is happy to offer two programs serving families with infants to age 3. Each class will have opportunities for indoor and outdoor play, songs, stories, and a shared snack. Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to join in discussion around child development, rhythm and family life, and create simple seasonal crafts. Joyful Beginnings
Infants and Crawlers
Joyful Beginnings provides parents and caregivers (expectant too!) of infants and crawlers with the opportunity to deepen their intuitive knowledge of their child’s development. in a nurturing environment. Families have space to converse and learn about the Waldorf model to discover new ways of being with and understanding our children. We will share a few songs, tea and snack, and discuss the joys and challenges of caring for children in their first year of life.

Puddle Jumpers
Walkers to Age 3
Puddle Jumpers classes are similar in rhythm to our preschool, blending seasonal exploration with opportunities for indoor and outdoor play. Families will experience songs, stories, a shared snack, parent education, and community. Many of our Puddle Jumpers transition into our preschool program as they become age ready at 2 1/2 years old.
