Summer Camps 2023

Stretch the imagination and explore local settings—with an emphasis on play and the outdoors through an early childhood camp hosted by SWS and a camp for students age 7-12 run by Steve & Kate’s Camps.

 SWS Wildflowers Early Childhood Camp

We are eagerly looking ahead to warmer months and the start of our Wildflower Summer Camp for our early childhood students!
We will offer three camp sessions starting June 26 for students ages 2.5 – 6 years old. Each session is two weeks long with camp ending on August 4. We welcome you to sign up for one, two, or all three sessions!

  • Session 1: June 26 – July 7
  • Session 2: July 10 – July 21
  • Session 3: July 24 – August 4

Wildflower summer camp will be a wonderful extension to the rhythms the children know so well during the school year, with a particular emphasis on seasonal crafts and connecting with nature. Children and teachers will gather each day for circle time, stories, gardening, cooking, walks in the forest, arts & crafts, rest, and ample time for child-led imaginative play. We can’t wait to gather together this summer to connect with new and old friends!

Steve & Kate’s Grade School Summer Camp

This year we will be offering a grade school camp run by Steve and Kate. Though this is not our usual SWS-led camp, we are excited to partner with them and offer summer fun and enrichment for our grade school students!
Students will have the opportunity to choose activities that excite them–ranging from dancing and making crafts, to cooking, sewing, sports, waterplay, and more! The camp provides daily lunches from local restaurants and caterers with options for a many dietary restrictions.
Whether you want your student to attend for a day or the whole summer, flexible plans are available to best suit your needs.
Steve and Kate’s Camp runs daily from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., June 26 – August 18.
